NEX Uniform Center at MCX
The NEX will remain open for ESSENTIAL UNIFORM NEEDS ONLY 10am-5:30pm until April 11. Beginning on April 12 NEX Operating hours will be 10am-4pm Monday – Saturday for now. The tailor will continue to come in on Thursdays to accommodate nametapes, branch of service, and/or insignia to be sewn on Newly purchased Type III’s (Navy Camouflage Uniforms). Dry Cleaning services have been suspended until further notice.

Marine & Family Programs Update
Marine & Family Program (MFP) office is available Monday – Friday only by phone or email. MFP Center is closed until further notice with all staff at 100% Telework.

Face Coverings enforced in MCX
Per the memorandum sent on 5 April, the MCX will be enforcing the use of facial coverings (clean T-shirts, bandanas, handkerchiefs, or other clean cloths that can cover the nose and mouth area) while in the store. This is especially important for the times when customers can’t maintain the appropriate 6 FEET for social distancing. To continue to service our customers, we are still only allowing 15 CUSTOMERS in the store at a time.

MCX Partial Closure
In order to preserve the health and well-being of our patrons and staff, the Henderson Hall Marine Corps Exchange will remain open for essential retail purchases only, beginning Tuesday, 7 April. Essential purchases are those items located on the first floor. The second and third floors will be closed until further notice. All customers will need to enter the store via the back entrance by the Capital Deli.

Wearing of Face Covering
Military personnel, DoD civilian employees, their family members, and DoD contractors are strongly encouraged to follow CDC guidelines on the use of cloth face coverings in public settings or where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Effective immediately, to the extent practical, all individuals on DoD property, installations, and facilities will wear cloth face coverings when they cannot maintain six feet of social distance in public areas or work centers (this does not include in a Service member's or Service family member's personal residence on a military installation). This includes all: Military Personnel, DoD Civilian Employees, Family Members, DoD Contractors, All other individuals on DoD property, installations, and facilities

NEX Uniform Shop Updates
The NEX Uniform Center would appreciate it if customers used on Credit/Debit Cards during this time to help keep everyone safe.

The NEX Tailor Shop will be closing with the exception of New Type III’s (Camouflage Uniforms)and request to have a nametape, branch of service tape or insignia sewn on. Our tailor will come in on Thursdays to accommodate those needs, otherwise she will be home to adhere to the company’s action of closing tailor shops.

Dry Cleaning services have been suspended until further notice.

The ID Card Center at Henderson Hall
The ID Card Center at Henderson Hall will maintain the hours of 8:00–11:00 am and 11:30 am – 3:30 pm with the last customer being called in at 3:00 pm. In order to maintain appropriate safety measures there will only be one ID Card Representative in the office at one time and they will only allow one customer in the office at one time.

Marine & Family Programs (MFP)
MFP office will operate Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – Noon and will be opened/manned by the Managers for clients/ walk-ins. Limited/Emergency services only.
MFP Center will be closed on Friday with all staff at Max-Telework.
This schedule will allow MFP to continue supporting while mitigating potential exposure.
