The Single Marine Program was established to improve quality of life for single Marines. The primary focus of the program is to enhance the morale and well-being of single Marines by directly involving them in the planning of services. Areas of concern include recreation, health, wellness, and community involvement. The program is extended to unaccompanied Marines as well. Recreation and leisure time events and activities are created, developed, and implemented by the SMP Coordinator. These activities include local and extended trips at low or no cost to the single or unaccompanied Marine. The SMP Coordinator works on quality of life issues with the assistance of the Single Marine Committee.   Issues pertaining to living standards, safety, wellness, health, and community involvement are often brought to the attention of the Command via the Single Marine Committee. The Committee provides single Marines a forum for direct involvement in such issues and empowers them to make a difference.

  Join the SMP for a pre pay day private pool & toga party. This party is FREE, private and open only to Single and Unaccompanied Marines & Sailors. Grab your beach towels, toga sheets and let’s go!.
  
  
• SMP BIRTHDAYS AND PIZZA NIGHT

  Attention all Single and Unaccompanied Marines! Come out to the MDCXXX Lounge for Pizza Night and a celebration of single Marine’s birthdays. Pizza and cake will be served at 1700. This event is FREE to all single and unaccompanied Marines and Sailors.
  
  
• KINGS DOMINION TRIP

  Join SMP on a trip to Kings Dominion Amusement Park. Single and unaccompanied Marines will pay $15.00 which includes transportation to the park and entry. Dedline to register is 15JUN10.
  
  
• SMP SUMMER MOVIE NIGHT
  24JUN10, 2000, MDCXXX Lounge
  Join SMP for a night at the movies in the barracks. The movie will be shown on our big blow up outdoor movie screen along with chow. This event is FREE to Single & Unaccompanied Marines & Sailors. Movie is TBA.
