Home Visiting Services
The New Parent Support Program has experienced and licensed professional counselors and social workers who provide Home Visitation. The purpose of the visit is to provide parenting education and support to you on an individual basis. The visits can take place in your home or in the NPSP offices located at Henderson Hall. The frequency of visits can be once a week, every two weeks, or once a month — all according to your needs.
The home visitor can provide services addressing a variety of educational topics including military family life, discipline, sibling rivalry, communication with your children, stress management tips, development screenings, toilet training, nutrition, SIDS prevention, deployment issues, and much, much more. Services include parenting education as well as support and encouragement regarding the challenges of parenting.
